Full Sequential ECU and Electrical governor

Overview:

The project’s main aim was converting and changing the usage of one 6 cylinders 300KW diesel engine to CNG engine, on the other hand, changing the fuel of the engine from diesel to engine in according to its gas emission and consumption.

To achieve this goal, the step below has been done:

  • The Cylinder head was changed in order to:

    • Change the Engine Compression Ratio.
    • Put spark plug for each cylinder.
  • A New Engine Management System(ECU) was designed completely in order to:

    • Start the Engine
    • Injection time control
    • Ignition control
    • Airflow control
    • Lambda control
    • RPM control
    • Engine temperature control
    • Working in Synchronized and Stand-alone state
    • CAN/RS422 Interface
    • etc.
  • Some new actuator such as Throttle body was designed completely.
